More Info: On October 21, 2015, the FCC enacted new rules which allow your phone carrier access the FCC’s files of telemarketing complaints. The phone companies can now legally use that information to block unwanted calls from ever reaching your phone. Depending on the carrier, if there are enough complaints filed with the FCC for a phone number, they will block that phone number from ever reaching your phone. However, very few of the billions of robocalls ever get reported to the FCC, so your phone keeps ringing. Note: A complaint filed with the Do Not Call List is not the same as a complaint filed with the FCC.

If you really want your complaint to count, don’t bother complaining on any of those “phone call complaint websites”. Report 201-942-1980 to the FCC so the phone carriers can block it from getting to your phone and millions of other phones.

Left a voicemail (no name-no company name was ever mentioned) stating that he wanted to send 2 letters via fed ex and it was going to cost approx. $15, so he wanted to get the address confirmed before sending. so if I could give him a call back as soon as possible to get these documents sent out.

Caller doesn't identify himself, his company or the subject for the call; he says 2 letters are on the way, but he'd prefer to send FedEx that will cost $15 so he wants a call back. Denied! Call received May 16, 2018, at 13:34CDT

Left a voice mail that said he just went straight to voicemail (never left his name or the name of his company). Said he was going to try and send 2 letters to my house but he would rather send it through FedEx and that it would cost 15 dollars and that he wanted to make sure he had the correct mailing address on file.

I'm not Oscar, so they hung up.

SAME EXACT CALL THAT THE OTHER COMPLAINERS RECEIVED - THE "AVOID $15 FED-EX FEE" EXCUSE. DID NOT CALL BACK.

Unsolicited message that went directly to my voice mail saying they wanted to send me something via Fedex. Same old garbage. Wish the Attorney General's office would curtail some of these scheister calls. They are draining!

Same story as everyone else. We called them back 3 times to tell them we already got the papers and needed their address to send them back. They hung up pretty quickly each time. Don't want to play that game it seems. SCAM!

Came up as no caller ID and voicemail said, "Hi good afternoon, went straight to your voicemail I just wanted to let you know that we're going to try to get two letters out to the house today but they're going to come in standard envelopes. So if you look in the top left it will say a reference ID it normally stars at 6249 and then your last name but the reason for the call is, I'd rather much fedex or UPS but obviously that's going to cost $15 so I want to be certain I have the certain correct mailing address on file before these go out. So if you could please give me a call back at my desk today I'd really appreciate it. I give you my desk and i'm pretty much here all day it's 201-942-1980. have a great day." Weird call

got a voicemail without identification telling me he wanted to send two letters and you needed me to call him back at his desk for more information on my email. I thought it may be a scam but we were going through refinancing so I called it back just in case, and it was a pre-recorded line so I hung up immediately.

Unknown number called twice then left a voicemail (no name-no company name was ever mentioned) stating that they were sending out 2 letters via regular mail but wanted to send the letters via Fed Ex or UPS and it was going to cost approx. $15, so he wanted to get the address confirmed before sending. so if I could give him a call back as soon as possible to get these documents sent out. Also said a reference # 6249 and last name would be noted in the upper left hand corner of the letters.

Unknown caller, just like the other reports. Man's voice, doesn't identify himself or organizaion. He's sending out 2 envelopes, but would rather send by FedEx. Wants my address. Call back he'll be at desk. Leaves call back number. I don't know the number or caller. Sounds fishy.
